Bruising Through To A Victory

Landsharks RB Lynch helped the team earn its first win.

Finally after three weeks, the Key West Landsharks have broken into the win column of the NFA standings. Powered by a solid and bruising performance by running back Marshawn Lynch and complemented by great performances from quarterback Philip Rivers and new starting running back Knile Davis, Key West was able to earn a road victory over the Baltimore Vengeance, 31-25. After a revamping of the starting lineup after a Week 2 loss, Key West picked up Lynch, Rivers, and Davis, having jettisoned quarterback Drew Brees and running backs Toby Gerhart and Lance Dunbar. Such a huge change sparked the win in Week 3, but can that spark continue in the weeks to come?
In Week 4, Key West will host the Michigan Bucks (1-2), the Richmond Fury (1-2) will host the Atlanta Assassins (3-0), the Miami Militia (0-3) will host the Fresno Cardinals (1-2), the Colorado Phanatics (1-2) will host the Los Angeles Fuel (3-0), and the Baltimore Vengeance (2-1) will host the San Francisco Dogs (2-1).
